What is Living Canvas?

Comprising art pieces worn on the human form and not
hung on walls.

Paintings that are created by artists utilizing various shapes,
medium such as wood, brass, copper, cane, bamboo, clothe,
beads, laces, dried leaves, canvases, etc. sewed, pasted,
weaved and painted as a form of wear as clothing that is then
exhibited on a person's body instead of a wall. The final piece of
art has two advantages: you can either wear it or hang it on the
wall when you are not wearing the art.

Living Canvas was the first attempt to promote the contemporary art, culture
and music of Nepal, created by Deneth Piumakshi and Kasthamandap Artist's Group
